There is power in coming together as a united force. As an Elite Phoenix, we are exercising unity in everything we do. We are on a mission to help rebuild our communities through providing an in-house financial system that will allow us to partner with our members to fund our own businesses and take care of our people through any hardships.

Hardship Funding: At some point or another, many people tend to fall on hard times for multiple reasons. We are here to not only help those individuals, but to also show the power in what we can do as a community or nation of people. We can be the change we seek. To begin receiving hardship funding, members must meet the following requirements:

Must be a member of Elite Phoenixes of America, Inc.

Must submit proof of funding need with the amount needed as well. (i.e. official light bill, gas bill, water bill, childcare bill, mortgage, etc.) All monies is paid directly to the company or organization on behalf of the client.

Must submit a request for funds application, along with required documents.

Must submit two (2) forms of ID (state drivers license or approved state issued ID card and social security card).

Proof of residence.

Qualifying factors and conditions:
Hardship funding is mainly for important basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing, childcare assistance, and transportation. Members should only request hardship funding when there is an emergency need and all other resources have been exhausted. Hardship funding should never be the members first choice in seeking assistance. These funds are only used as a last resort. These funds are not considered loans. Members will not be in any debt with Elite Phoenixes of America, Inc. These funds are for EMERGENCIES ONLY. Hardship funding is not given in the form of direct cash. Hardship funding is ONLY used to cover any past due amounts that do not exceed the annual use of total hardship funding allotted to each individual member. It is the members responsibility to contact their utility company or housing management to work out any further payment arrangements and agreements.

Member will be required to attach the disconnection bill or final notice bill with payment information such as account number, name on account, if there are any pass-codes needed for verification, member must also provide us with that information as well to ensure the overdue balance on the bill can be satisfied.

Members seeking assistance for hardship funding must be active for at least 14 days for utilities and 6 months for larger requests such as rent, mortgages, car notes, etc. The term active is described as a member who attends a minimum of 2 personal or professional skills workshops per month. Funding will not exceed up to $500 per year in utilities and up to $1000 per year in larger bills. Rare exceptions are made at the discretion of Elite Phoenixes of America, Inc, but these exceptions are NOT GUARANTEED!

Qualifying Hardship Reasons up to $500 per year and at least 14 days ACTIVE member include, but are not limited to:

Emergency Food | In most cases, funding is not given. Local resources are provided or food/food voucher is given.

Clothing | In most cases, funding is not given. Local resources is provided or clothes are given.

Public Transportation Assistance – At least 14 days as an active member

All bills must be emailed to Elite Phoenixes of America, Inc, along with the application for request of emergency funds to the following email address:

Business Funding: If you have a business idea in mind, you will have the liberty to submit a completed business plan to be considered for funding. If you do not have a business plan, you will have the opportunity to create one with our Elite Entrepreneurial Developmental workshops. All business funding will take place at least once every 12 months. In order to be considered for funding, you must meet the following qualifications below:

Submit a completed business plan

Must be on enrolled in the Elite Phoenix Pro w/Platinum Pass Access or be a participant in the Elite Entrepreneurial Developmental Workshops.

Must have completed the full DYPM program

Must submit a request for business funding application.
